Tyler Lane and the gold nugget mystery
Published in Unknown Binding by Moody Press ()
Average review score:

It is one of the best fictional but yet strong in faith bookI read this book when I was much younger, but , then again I am somewhat prejudice as Lucille Meyst was my Aunt and I was so excited to see this on line . It is a great ficitional but strong in faith and easy for young readers to understand. We need more current living authors that can gear their literature to the younger audience that will help them understand faith and how it works.

Tyler, Wilkin, and SkeeThis book is great! It's about three boys growing up through a year. Each chapter is about a month. It's entertaining and has some values, and even though it's old-fashioned, readers of all ages can enjoy this book!

Tyler's Guide: The Healthcare Executive's Job Search (Ache Management Series)
Published in Paperback by Health Administration Press (June, 1998)
Average review score:

J. Larry Tyler: Helping To Build CareersAbout 2 years ago I suddenly lost my job to corporate "rightsizing". J. Larry Tyler' Book, Tylers Guide: The Healthcare Executive's Job Search provided extremely useful information on the right way to go about the job search process. Furthermore the book had significant inspirational content. Some of the readings helped me feel less alone and able to effectively present myself in my search for a new position. I think Mr. Tyler's book is a "must read", even for healthcare executives with apparently secure positions.

Tyler's Row

charming escape to the English country lifeMiss Read is a wonderful author who brings bits of English country life alive. Her stories are charming, her characters utterly wonderful...having just taken a trip to the English Cotswolds, where most of her stories are based, we experienced first-hand the small village life she depicts so aptly in all her books. She's a great choice for a rainy afternoon, curled by the fire

The Ultimate Guide to Pitcher Drinks: Cool Cocktails for a Crowd
Published in Paperback by Villard Books (25 March, 2003)
Average review score:

My party was a hit.I got this book specifically to help with a large party. I'm a booze novice, so I didn't want to be mixing drinks all night with no clue what I was doing. This book gave me a great way to provide ample libations for all, and still have time to mingle and chat. It was a blast. I only made drinks from the "Easy Does It" list (low alcohol). I got compliments all around, and there was plenty for everyone.

The Ultimate Liquor-Free Drink Guide: More Than 325 Drinks With No Buzz, but Plenty of Pizzazz
Published in Paperback by Broadway Books (08 October, 2002)
Average review score:

What Fun!What, a drink book without booze? Couldn't be interesting, I thought to myself. But I tracked it down 'cause I saw an outstanding review of it in USA Today. And just flipping through it makes my mouth water. Not the same ol', same ol' stuff here. Lots of tantalizing drinks in 12 different chapters, including mocktails (fake cocktails--I tried the Cosmopolitan and it is great!), tea drinks, coffee drinks, smoothies, milkshakes, health drinks, punches, eggnogs of every flavor--you name it, it's here. I've already marked several pages for entertaining ideas for the upcoming holidays. Great for anyone who doesn't want to overload on the liquor during the holiday season, or any time at all!

The Usborne Book of Brain Benders (Brainbenders)

Great for sharpening Student's Thinking SkillsI have used the book for several years with my 4th and 5th grade students to sharpen their thinking skills. It is a great book with a wide variety of puzzles presented in an effective way. Adults seem to enjoy it as well.

Usborne Book of the Earth
Published in Paperback by E D C Publications (April, 1991)
Average review score:

Understanding our EarthThis book explains how the earth was made and its age, as well as how it is constantly changing. Aspects covered are the seasons; rocks and fossils, caves, earthquakes; and volcanoes. Also included is a good rock-spotters guide for identifying specimens.
The sections that follow a river (as it changes the topography) and take us on a journey up a mountain (explaining the changes in weather and topography) are fascinating.
There are sections on various climates: hot and cold places; hot, dry places; and icy places. I especially liked the wonderfully illustrated part about how a town grows, from prehistoric to present time.
The usual terrific illustrations, an Usborne "trademark" make learning painless and fun!
